I graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2014 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. I am eager to continue my education as an intern with a firm where I can grow and pursue my dream of touching lives through the design and manipulation of space. My ideal work environment is one in which I am challenged and encouraged to discover and develop new skills and ideas within the architectural field. I appreciate work that has strong conceptual movements that direct insightful design accompanied by the focus on sustainability in the urban environment, whether it is educational, commercial or residential architecture.
I am confident that I will be a strong asset to any firm because of the passion, dedication, imagination and energy I bring to every aspect of my life. I enjoy every phase of design, from conceptual sketching to final production drawings utilizing my skills in Revit, AutoCAD, the Adobe Suite and SketchUp. Self motivation and the will and persistence to succeed are traits that were ingrained in me from a young age. Throughout college, I have learned to accept responsibility, plan work and manage time pressure to meet deadlines efficiently and effectively. I am especially passionate about the fact that an effective design of living and working space can contribute to positive outcomes in the world by shaping how people relate to their daily environments. My goal is to use architecture to make a positive, lasting impression on the world, the people in it and their quality of life. |
